Hello.
I used to live in England. Now I live in Salem.
Yes – that Salem. With the witches. Where it’s Halloweentown every day of the year. I have been having Hallowe’en parties as a kid since I was 9 years old, even when no-one in England really celebrated the holiday (they still don’t, but I did see some promotions at Marks & Sparks the other day). I ended up here purely by accident
Every day there is something that reminds me that I’m a British expat. This might have something to do with the fact that I’m hyper-aware and am always thinking in stories. I do like to make fun of things – but remember that my native sense of humour is pretty deadpan. I don’t actually mean to sound as mean as I sound. Maybe you’ll disagree with me, maybe you won’t agree with me.
I also really, really, really like hyperlinks. I sometimes like to hide jokes in there, especially references to my favourite TV shows.
I also like to spell words like “favourite” with a “U”, just to be stubborn. This does not get in the way of the fact that I work as a proofreader in Boston.
Also: since this is the web, I write with a frustrating-to-others stream of consciousness. Why? Because you touch yourself at night.
Thanks Sara. Funniest things I’ve read in ages.
Hello hello!
Excellent blog! Love the theme/look of it, and I’m definitely digging your October horror-a-thon! As a fellow horror movie lover, I can’t wait to see which ones you pick.
Keep up the great work!

Ah, cheers! 😀 I’m deliberately only picking ones I’ve not seen before (which may be embarrassing for me to admit when it comes to some classic flicks)…!
Haha, well I’m enjoying them- keep up the great work!
I stumbled across your blog today and I absolutely love it! I’m a massive horror fan and you have given me so many films to take a look at, so thank you!
Just want to say love the Blog!
